Code by Day, Fly by Passion

I'm a full-time web developer and programmer with an unshakeable passion for drones and aerial technology. When I'm not building websites and applications, you'll find me exploring Arizona's incredible landscapes from above.

The Developer Who Learned to Fly

Two worlds collided when a programmer discovered the endless possibilities of unmanned flight

The Tech Background

As a full-stack developer, I build complete applications from database architecture to user interfaces. My expertise spans modern web technologies, AI integration, and scalable system design. This technical depth allows me to create tools like the interactive drone map - not just content, but functional applications that solve real problems for pilots.

The drone map showcases this technical approach: it combines location data, weather APIs, airspace information, and AI-powered recommendations into a single, intelligent platform. Currently in beta with regular updates, it represents the kind of comprehensive tools I believe the drone community deserves.

AI-Powered Innovation:

The interactive drone map features AI-driven location recommendations based on weather conditions, airspace status, and user preferences - combining multiple data sources into intelligent, actionable insights for pilots.

The Drone Discovery

What started as curiosity about aerial photography quickly evolved into a deep fascination with unmanned aircraft systems. Arizona's diverse landscapes - from desert valleys to mountain peaks - provided the perfect playground for exploring what these incredible machines could capture.

As I dove deeper into the hobby, I realized how much misinformation and scattered resources existed in the drone community. Pilots were struggling with regulations, airspace, and finding reliable flying locations. That's when I knew I had to help.

Mission: Free Knowledge for All

Breaking down barriers to drone education by providing comprehensive, accurate, and accessible resources to pilots at every level

Why I Do This

The Information Problem

When I started flying, I encountered the same frustrations many pilots face: outdated information, confusing regulations, and scattered resources. Finding reliable answers required digging through multiple sources, often with conflicting information.

I realized that my background in research, documentation, and systematic problem-solving could help create the comprehensive resource I wished had existed when I started.

The Solution

AirAzona FPV exists to be that single, reliable source. Every guide is thoroughly researched, regularly updated, and presented in a way that makes complex topics accessible to everyone - from complete beginners to seasoned commercial operators.

Everything here is free because knowledge shouldn't have barriers. The drone community thrives when everyone has access to accurate, current information.

How I Approach Drone Education

Every resource is built on these core principles that guide everything I create

Research-Driven

Every fact is verified against official sources. I don't publish anything I'm not confident is accurate and current.

Beginner-Friendly

Complex concepts broken down into digestible pieces. No assumed knowledge - everything is explained clearly.

Always Current

Regular updates as regulations change. Outdated information is more than useless - it's dangerous.

Passion-Driven

This isn't a business - it's a love project. The goal is helping pilots, not making money.

Building Community

The drone community is incredibly supportive, and I want to contribute to that spirit. Whether you're studying for Part 107, looking for new flying locations, or just starting your drone journey, you're welcome here.

I'm always working on new resources, updating existing content, and exploring new ways to help pilots succeed. The interactive drone map is just the beginning - there are exciting features and educational content in development.
